Data collected

SillageFinder collects the following data when using the service:

• — Olfactory questionnaire answers (stored anonymously)
• — Session identifier (randomly generated, not linked to your identity)
• — [If payment] transaction data transmitted to Stripe — no card data is stored by SillageFinder

Purposes of processing

Data is used to:

• — Calculate your olfactory profile and generate your recommendations
• — Generate the personalised diagnostic via OpenAI (API)
• — Produce the exportable PDF
• — Improve the recommendation algorithm (aggregated, anonymised data)

Data retention

Sessions and answers are retained for [duration, e.g. 12 months] from the creation date, then automatically deleted. No user account is required. No email address is collected.

Data sharing

SillageFinder does not sell or rent your data to third parties. Data may be transmitted to:

• — OpenAI: for diagnostic generation (your session answers only, no personal identifier)
• — [Host]: for database hosting
• — Stripe: for payment processing (if applicable)

Your rights (GDPR)

Cookies

SillageFinder does not use tracking or advertising cookies. A session cookie may be used to maintain your progress in the questionnaire. It is deleted when the browser is closed.
